Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Back to the Farm

Luckily they were able to outrun the bully dogs so that they didn't have to deal with them for long. Then they came to a field where the farmer was giving hay rides on big wagons pulled by horses. He was willing to let the dogs have a ride, too, so the three dogs hopped on the wagon. There was a golden retriever already on the ride, and it turned out to be one of the ones they had met on the farm! The golden retriever's name was Cakey.

They started talking, and Cakey told the three dogs that there was trouble back on the farm. Most of the crops were destroyed in the tornado, and now they were worried there would not be enough because they were supposed to supply the foods for the town carnival. Also, some of the pipes were damaged so they couldn't water the crops. then Bobby (Helper Bobby) got on the ride. "Hi!" he said to his dog friends.

 The 3 dogs told Bobby that there was trouble on the farm.  Just then the wagon stopped. They were at the farm. "Ok, this is a lot of damage,"  said Furry.

"Yup!" said Cakey. 

They asked the farmer why the farm hands weren't helping. The farmer said that they couldn't come. One had hit his leg and broke it. The second farm hand's family's house got destroyed and he had to go help to fix it.

"What are we waiting for?"  asked Bobby.  "We can help! Thre three dogs and I."

The farmer said, "Thank you so much! I would really appreciate that. Lets go to the farm to make some plans."

 "Ok!" said the three dogs. 

They got off the wagon and started walking through the damaged farm.  The water system that watered the crops was  missing. 

"Oh, I forgot, we have more pipes," said Cakey.

"Where  are all the pipes that were here?" asked Ned 

"I think the tornado took the pipes to the forest," said  the farmer.

"Ok, then let's get to work installing the new ones!" said Helper Bobby. And the 3 dogs sprang into action to help. after forever the 3 dogs got to the forest.

how long was that asked Choo choo .Ned replied that took 1.6 minute. what that toke forever Furry said.  I agree said Choo Choo . aw come on, well let's find the pipes
