Helper Bobby Meets the Lemmings

The lemmings were sitting on a rock near Grizzly’s house, drinking sodas that they stole from Grizzly’s refrigerator. Luckily, Grizzly didn’t mind. He only minded if they took his favorite food (Yum spread) or if they woke him up or disturbed him or messed up his house.

The one lemming saw a big, round pipe and told the other lemmings. Suddenly, the pipe started shaking. Some kind of moving thing came through it. Was it the Grizzly? No, it was Helper Bobby! But the lemmings didn’t know it yet.

The only thing the lemmings did was to hide. Helper Bobby followed them. They ran away and hid again. After a certain amount of hiding, they realized this person wasn’t trying to hurt them. He just wanted to be their friend.

He told them, “I have a whole bunch of ideas of how to help!” They understood. He led them to a garage, but there were no cars, just tools. Helper Bobby found an old shopping cart lying around and started building an airplane that could fit all of them. And it actually worked! He used nails, a hammer, a kite, the shopping cart, and some other special parts and tools. And once it was built, he used some magic to turn himself into a lemming so he could fly with them, too.

Helper Bobby had some boxes with equipment for fighting bad guys. That was his mission—to fight bad guys—and he thought the lemmings would like to help. And they did!

He shrunk the equipment to lemming-size, and they got to practice using the tools and training. There was a target, and they practiced with the bow and arrow, shooting the arrow into the center.

Then, all of a sudden, a monster appeared from under the ground. Helper Bobby and the lemmings worked together to fight it off.

They used lasers and they did karate and jujitsu, and they threw stuff at the monster. They even used bows and arrows and fireballs. They defeated the monster together. Teamwork makes the dream work!

They used hoses and fire extinguishers to put out the fires that the monster (and their fireballs) had started.

Ding! Ding! Helper Bobby’s watch alarm went off. That meant it was time for lunch. (Helper Bobby never liked to miss a meal.) They ate apples, bananas, cereal, meat, and a salad. They drank water. After lunch, some of the lemmings took a nap in a treehouse. Helper Bobby rested in the treehouse, too.

The lemmings and Helper Bobby were very comfy in their treehouse. They had used a special spray on everything that made it soft and bouncy like a trampoline. While they were sleeping, the airplane took off—with the treehouse inside it!

The nails in the treehouse were so stabilized and the cushions had such good suspension that they didn’t feel anything. Some of the lemmings were flying the plane, while the others were asleep. Helper Bobby stayed asleep, too.

Suddenly the lemmings flying the plane looked down and saw a giant robot attacking a city. It was throwing fireballs and making an even bigger disaster than the last monster. They decided to let the other lemmings and Helper Bobby sleep while they fought the robot themselves.

They started dropping some apples on the robot, and since they came from so high up, they bonked the robot and exploded some of his electronics. But he was still going!

So the lemmings shot missiles made of carrots and also dropped water balloons to short circuit the robot’s electrical system. That did the trick. The robot was defeated!

After flying for a while, Helper Bobby and the other lemmings work up. They ate some berries for a snack. Next, they looked down and saw the most giant robot of them all. They saw the Babybel Ninjas already fighting the robot, but it looked like they needed some help. Helper Bobby and the lemmings dropped down to help.

Helper Bobby led a team of the lemmings to find the robot’s power source, while the other lemmings distracted the robot by running all around him. Helper Bobby noticed a glow coming from the robot’s chest. It was the power source. It was a magic meteor (stolen from the Paw Patrol Mighty Pups) that was powering the robot.

Helper Bobby and the lemmings shot a suction cup attached to a rope onto the robot’s chest, and then climbed up the rope. They used the crowbar from their toolbox to pry open the robot’s control panel. Then they got the meteor out. They planned to return it to the Paw Patrol. The giant robot was defeated!

The mayor of the town thanked Helper Bobby and the lemmings for defeating the robot. As a reward, he gave them some free ice cream and some tiny medals that would fit on a lemming. They asked for a few more for the Babybel Ninjas as well.

To celebrate, Helper Bobby and the lemmings went to a beach resort. The Babybel Ninjas came, too, to celebrate the victory. They all ate some tropical fruit and went for a swim in the ocean. Then they relaxed in the sun to warm up after swimming. At sunset, they lit a bonfire on the beach and they roasted marshmallows and sang and danced.

Real lemming

The lemming is a tiny rodent that is found in or near the Arctic Circle.
